Criminal Law-. Cases and Materials by Professor KD Gaur, a classic work in the field of criminal law, has been quoted with approval in the judgments of various courts in India and abroad. The book delves into important topics relating to fundamentals of crime and criminal law, principles of criminal liability, mens rea under the Indian Penal Code and other statutory offences, strict liability of manufacturers of hazardous substances, cybercrimes and offences against the human body. It traces and analyses the worldwide movement towards the abolition of capital punishment by Amnesty International resulting in its removal from the penal laws of 142 countries.
