520 _aThe theory of integration and disintegration is considered to be one of the many disciplines of political science. It is concerned with problems of nation-building, tensions between the centre and the marginalised, and between different structures within a political system. Theories of integration and disintegration also apply at the level of international politics or, more broadly, international relations. Integration at the international level is mostly considered as a process leading to political unity. The book aims to shed light on some of the unexplored aspects of integration and disintegration, and the recent researches in this field. Different approaches, evaluations, methodologies and advanced studies on politics of integration and disintegration have been included herein. This book will prove to be immensely beneficial to students and researchers in this field. ---Provided by publisher
