520			_aCovid did have some positive effects. For me, it was LETILS', the national webinar on various legal topics with eminent speakers conducted by my firm M/s Shyam Padman Associates, Advocates & Legal Consultants. It gave me the opportunity to come across and interact with the best in the legal field; advocates, judges, jurists, and academicians, including Sri Narasimhan Vijayaraghavan, Advocate, Madras High Court. As this is the first time I have written the preface to a book, I am uncertain as to how to approach it. However, amidst this uncertainty I am certain of my gratitude for Sri Narasimhan Vijayaraghavan, who introduced me to the publishers and who was singlehandedly instrumental in my attaining of this project. As the last edition was of 2017, this edition is more of original work than mere editing in view of the substantial changes brought about by the 2019 Act. Materials and authorities were few and scattered, and the law evolving. He encouraged me to accept this project, was solely responsible for the publishers entrusting me with editing this book and has seen to it that when my confidence in the successful completion of this project wavered, his confidence in me never did. Despite the fact, that I have completed this book in its entirety, I am embarrassed to say that I lack the words to fully convey my feelings to him for his faith in my abilities.
